Free Kidney Health Screening

8:30 am to 12:30 pm

There will be a Free Kidney Health Screening on Saturday, October 20th  at Our Lady of Guadalupe Co-Cathedral, 3900 Wisconsin Street in Anchorage from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm for individuals with diabetes or high blood pressure, the #1 and #2 causes of kidney disease.

If you have diabetes or high blood pressure, the Alaska Kidney Patients Association strongly encourages you to schedule an appointment for this free screening by registering at HERE, calling 907.333.2257 or emailing kristie@alaskakidney.org.

Early detection and treatment, including lifestyle changes,

may SLOW or PREVENT the progression to kidney failure.

Be good to your kidneys so they will last you the rest of your life.

Free Kidney Health Screening participants:

• Complete a short personal & medical history
• Have their blood pressure, height, weight and waist circumference measurements done
• Blood and urine tests for signs of diabetes and kidney disease
• Consult with a medical professional
