12th Annual Kidney Education Symposium
AKPA facilitates the annual Kidney Education Symposium. This one-day symposium follows a lecture and breakout session format and brings in speakers with expertise in all facets of kidney disease—so attendees may choose the topic most relevant to them.
A continental breakfast & lunch provided
We encourage each patient to bring 1 to 2 family members
Transportation is available for Anchorage dialysis patients upon request
Speakers are all professionals connected with kidney disease – Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, Renal Dieticians, Kidney Transplant Coordinator (from major transplant center in Seattle) and Renal Social Workers.
